I’m keeping this week’s post short and sweet. 

I came down with last covid last week and I was sort of in disbelief because I hadn’t been eating gluten, dairy and sugar and had been feeling amazing. My energy and sleep had improved. I was virtually experiencing no bodily pain and I was getting.stuff.done.

So, when my husband urged me to take a covid test, I was in denial when it came back positive…..I genuinely thought I was dealing with seasonal allergies early this year. 

The great thing was that I didn’t really get that sick, and I want to share with you my tried-and-true remedy support. 

I have a mix of immune-boosting supplements and herbs and then some good things to help with moving covid bugs along their merry way. 

I want to remind you that this is NOT a ‘cure’ for anything at all… .these are all good support to boost your body’s defense system so that it can be at its’ best to help you heal faster. And, of course, if you have any questions at all, please contact your healthcare practitioner, and if things are REALLY bad, go to your local urgent care or ER.

You know that adage ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure’? Well, it’s soooo true! Even if it means that you don’t get as severely sick, it’s still worth the pre-self-care.

But for when it STILL comes on, in spite of all your best efforts, try these:

  • Rest. Your body has a way better shot at healing when it’s not exerting energy on talking, navigating traffic, and movement. This is something I always have to remind myself to do.
  • Drink clear herbal teas, water and soups. The heavier the food and drink, the more energy your body expends on digestion rather than healing. You can try my ginger lemon tea
